Yesterday I arrived home from Banzaicon in Larvik, Norway!
I have next to no photos to share yet, since my camera mystically disappeared during the main day! However I have great friends who have promised me some of theirs once they're done editing. ♥
Banzaicon was soooo much fun! I went there mainly to perform with my AKBabes, but I ended up having so, so, so much more fun!
I don't think I'll have any cosplay photos to show you any time soon though, since I only wore my Tokaku Azuma that wasn't even finished, and one of my outfits for Miyazawa Sae the 5th, that I've worn before, but you never know?

The last day I didn't wear any cosplay, just a casual outfit. My friend Tomas snapped some photos of it together with my friend Jözz since we kind of matched that day.

Some of my lovely friends and companions for this con. ♥
Banzaicon was a blast, the surroundings were beautiful, the weather was amazing and the people were warm and great fun. ♥
Out performance there, though some technical difficulties was the most enjoyable performance out of the 11 performances me and my AKBabes have done at different conventions!
I can't wait to be able to present some photos that will do the con more justice when I can.
Did you go to Banzaicon? And did you see us there?
Banzaicon also convinced me that getting a cosplay page on facebook was a good idea to keep in touch with all the people I meet on different events, so if you feel like it, please check it out and give me a like! ♥
Thank you for this time, and until next time, Banzaicon! ♥

I have so hot friends. ♥

As most of my friends know, one of my favorite sweets in the whole world is Jelly Beans! Imagine my delight when I saw the Jelly Belly sodas at the Banzai Café?! I'm not even that fond of sodas since I don't like carbonated beverages, but this was a different story! The French Vanilla one tasted like vanilla ice cream, I'm not even kidding.

I picked up a package full of circle lenses from Honeycolor this week! Only two pairs for myself though. Honeycolor is a great site to order from if you're a bunch of friends who need lenses for a con or just for fun, since if you order for more than 100$ you get free express shipping, something me and my group sorely needed since these lenses are for Banzaicon next weekend! I ordered them a little over a week ago, but since Easter left the post office closed for about five days I think it only took about five-six days for the parcel to reach me!

This time I ordered a new pair of blue lenses and one pair of lilac lenses. I already had both these colors in Super Pinky, my favorite brand and design on circle lenses, but lately my left eye has been bugging me and won't have me wearing them at all. It makes me so sad since I really love them and since they always were so comfortable before. I highly recommend them, the design and colors are really just flawless, at least if you are like me and like lenses with vivid color, without a sharp black rim that blend nicely with your own eyes. Super Pinky can even make red and purple eyes look natural and dreamy.Oh Super Pinky.
Anyway!
This time I got a pair of EOS Ice in Blue, and a pair of EOS Fairy in violet!
Now I'm off to prepare the last bits of my costumes and luggage for Banzaicon in Larvik, Norway this weekend, together with my AKBabes, I'm so very excited that we'll get to perform there!Anyway!
This time I got a pair of EOS Ice in Blue, and a pair of EOS Fairy in violet!

I really like the EOS Ice series, since they're quite big and enlarging, comfortable, (I can easily wear them for a whole, long con day without any discomfort) and the pattern is really pretty.
What I do not like as much is how very much of your own eye color that still shows when you're wearing them. Since I have a mixture of many colors in my eyes blue, gray and green lenses from the Ice series still work on me, but I'd never get them in purple or brown, I don't think that'd look as good. I'd recommend the EOS Ice lenses in colors that are close to your own eye color, or if you want the effect of a differently colored ring around your own eye color.
I'm planning to use these lenses for everyday wear, as well as my cosplays on Sailor Uranus, Anarchy Panty and Azuma Tokaku.

As for EOS Fairy, they're not so big, so cosplay wise they're quite good for male or more grown up-looking characters. I'm not sure I'm going to wear them out of cosplay, since they don't blend as well as I'd like them to, but they are comfortable and quite vivid, so I'm still quite happy with them.
My issue with other violet contacts are that they easily look gray and washed out from afar, but EOS Fairy does the job of looking purple even from afar pretty well. I'm planning to wear these to my Sailor Star Maker cosplay this summer!
EOS Fairy was also the first circle lens I ever tried out, I had the green ones for my Oerba Dia Vanille cosplay back in 2011, and I think they were quite good to start out with since they are comfortable, not so big, and don't crave all that much makeup to look good.

I hope you all have a great Easter with your loved ones, and loads of eggs and candy! ♥
I'll be spending whatever's left of today working on my cosplays for BANZAIcon, a convention in Norway that I'm going to visit with my AKBabes, and watching Rise of the Guardians, my one of my favorite movies that just so happens to be set during Easter!
"Hello, mate. Been a long time. Blizzard of '68 I believe. Easter Sunday, wasn't it?"
"You're not still mad about that, are you?"
